Balance & Transactions

Note: The balance always shows the current value of the Bitcoin you hold, while the transactions show the FIAT equivalent on the day the transactions were made.

Balance

  1. Please open the Numbrs app or our website and log in.
  2. Your funds are displayed in both your chosen FIAT currency and in BTC. You can choose which FIAT currency you want to display by changing the currency in the app settings. If you are viewing your transactions on the Numbrs app, you can swipe from the top of your screen to the bottom to update your balance and transactions. Alternatively, if you are viewing your transactions on the website, please refresh the page. You will then see the updated transactions without having to repeat the login process.

Transactions

There are two types of transactions:

  1. Send (Bitcoin you send from your Bitcoin Account to another wallet).
  2. Receive (Bitcoin you receive from another wallet to yours).

The two most recent transactions are displayed on your homescreen. To see all of your sent and received transactions, click on the ‘see all transactions’ text underneath.

You also have the option to share any transaction via your chat applications, email or SMS.

To open the details of a transaction, please select the transaction item in the timeline.

You can see the following transaction details for any transaction you receive:

    • Amount (in chosen FIAT currency and in BTC)
    • From (Full length of the wallet address)
    • To (Full length of the Bitcoin Account address)
    • Date
    • Exchange rate (the price of the Bitcoin when the transaction was processed)
    • The option to view the transaction details in the BTC Blockchain Explorer

Please be aware if a transaction is not sent yet it will be displayed as ‘Pending’ in the list of transactions.

If you tap on the top right icon while viewing any kind of transaction detail, the option to share that transaction will be displayed.

Bitcoin Graph

At the bottom of your homescreen you can see a graph to track price movements of your assets over different time periods. If you are using our web app, this is displayed on your dashboard. This can be viewed by toggling through the buttons under the graph: 1D (day), 1W (Week), 1M (Month), 3M, 1Y (Year) and ALL.

  • By clicking ‘Bitcoin price’ at the top of the graph, users can track the price changes of Bitcoin. You can switch between graphs by clicking on the toggle button above.

Please note that both Bitcoin and portfolio price changes will be displayed in your base currency, chosen on the Numbrs app or website.

If you have the Numbrs app installed, you can add the Bitcoin Price Graph directly to your phone’s homescreen in the form of a fully optimized widget. You can choose a size, a currency and a time frame. Please note that the currency is set to USD and the time frame is set 3 months by default. If you are using the Numbrs app on an Android device, you can learn more about how to add a widget here. Alternatively, if you are using an iOS device, you can find the instructions here.

On your Dashboard a table is displayed various trading pairs, comparing the price of BTC to alternative crypto-currencies.

What is a Blockchain Explorer?

A blockchain explorer effectively serves as a search engine for data within a blockchain network. In a cryptocurrency environment, tools like Bitcoin Blockchain Explorer or BTC Blockchain Explorer enable users to access different details relating to transactions on specific wallet addresses and blockchains. These may include amounts transacted, the sources and destinations of funds, and the status of various transactions. A blockchain explorer allows users to access virtually any data related to transactions, wallets and blockchains, including rich lists and hidden messages. A blockchain explorer in this way can show even more advanced transaction details using the 'Transaction Hash', a unique 66 characters identifier that is generated whenever a transaction is executed.
