Update: We are temporarily changing the color of our app icon to black

Due to current events we have decided to change the color of our app icon from red to black. This blog post informs you about the background of this short notice change.

We made the decision to change the app icon color in course of a recent legal dispute between Numbrs and a well-known German major bank. It has only been three months since we’ve presented the new Numbrs app icon and corporate logo to all of our users. The design of the app icon was custom-tailored with the emblematic red coloring of Switzerland’s national flag. We are proud of our Swiss roots and naturally want to express this in our company logo and app symbol.

The provisory change to black which we have used for the previous app icon was the obvious choice in this situation. We will replace the app icon in all areas where it appears. This applies to the Apple App Store, the Google Play Store, all social media platforms, as well as various sections inside the app.

We hope the change will only be for a short period of time. We are doing everything in our power to continue to use the Swiss red and will soon be able to communicate an update to all users in this matter.
