Coronavirus: Introducing further measures
The emergence and subsequent outbreak of COVID-19 have become a global issue of enormous scale and human impact. Although no employee of Numbrs has been tested positive yet, we are taking further measures to prevent the spread of the virus and protect our staff, partners, and their families.
Remote-Work until further notice
Readers of our blog may be aware that over the last few weeks, we have taken a series of precautionary steps in response to this developing public health impact. Numbrs was one of the first European companies to shift its workforce entirely into remote work.
Already on March 3rd, 2020, we have decided to set up for everyone in the company to work from home – with no personal face-to-face meetings or gatherings. Our physical offices will be closed until further notice. All our employees, both remote and fixed employed, will be paid during this period, without needing to use any vacation or sick time. Additionally, we have barred all employees of Numbrs from flying or traveling for business.
Numbrs is fully prepared to ensure business continuity
Our agile and dedicated teams are fully equipped to work remotely, and despite these exceptional conditions, our daily operations will be maintained. Maintaining our production capabilities in times of crisis is a significant competitive advantage for our company. The advantage is sorely based on our full-stack approach. Our company is not dependent on any third party supplier, be it in the area of technology, product, or business, and can modify and digitally map every process.
Since many of our users in Germany, unfortunately, have to stay at home and cannot go out on the streets, as usual, we hope that our app will at least help as many people as possible to manage their finances safely and easily.
We will continue to make decisions with vigilance and courage informed by the latest science-based information and guided by our vision and values. We do hope the situation will soon improve and that we will all be back to business as usual as soon as possible. In the meantime, take care of yourself and follow safety recommendations as much as possible.
