Terms

The Matterhorn mountain in the Swiss Alps.

Numbrs is incentivized to store our clients’ Bitcoin securely, by offering the most secure offline storage solution possible. Our clients’ success is directly related to our commercial success as a company. Open-source storage systems don’t have this incentive. They are usually created on a volunteer basis and have no personal stake in the success of their clients. We want to be clear on how we make money and want our incentives to be aligned with that of our clients.

There is a saying in the industry - if you aren’t paying for a product, then the product is you. “Free” services are inherently untrustworthy. They may change their terms down the line, in which case you don’t know the deal you are going to get. Or they collect and sell large amounts of invasive user data for ad-targeting purposes.
